Achinsk Branch of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University" was established in 1998 on the basis of a training centre. The idea of founding the Branch was launched by Nikolai Tsuglenok, the rector of KrasGAU, Corresponding Member of the Russian Agricultural Academy, Doctor of Technical Sciences, a professor, a full member of the Russian National Academy of Science, the Higher School of Economics, Honored Worker of Higher Education.
Nowadays Achinsk Branch encompasses 1000 students, 100 lecturers and employees. The Branch carries out educational activities in the sphere of higher education in five bachelor’s programmes:
- 38.03.01 Economics,
- 35.03.06 Agricultural Engineering,
- 40.03.01 Jurisprudence,
- 20.03.01 Safety in Technosphere
- 21.03.02 Land Management and Cadastres.
The Branch offers a master’s programme in 35.04.06 Agricultural Engineering.
Since April 2020, the director of the Branch is Olga Pilyaeva, Candidate of Technical Sciences.
